About This Model

This simulation draws from several scientific theories of consciousness:

• Global Workspace Theory (Baars) — Information becomes conscious when broadcast widely across neural networks
• Integrated Information Theory (Tononi) — Φ measures how much a system is "more than the sum of its parts"
• Predictive Processing (Friston) — The brain constantly generates and updates predictions
